Cleaning Your Eyeglasses

• Use a microfiber cloth specifically designed for cleaning eyeglasses, and a commercial eyeglass lens cleaner spray.

You can also use mild dish detergent and warm water to clean your eyeglasses, rubbing the lenses with your fingers. Dry lenses with an eyeglass cleaning cloth or soft cotton cloth, like a t-shirt.

Don't use household cleaners such as window cleaner on your eyeglasses as they can destroy the finish.

Don't wipe your lenses while they are dry. Wash or blow off dust or grit instead.

Wearing and Storing Your Eyeglasses

It's best to take your eyeglasses off and put them on with both hands to keep the temples from being pulled out of shape and distorting your vision.

•   Try not to rest your glasses face down on a table or other surface as this can scratch your lenses.

Don't keep eyeglasses on your vehicle dashboard as excessive heat can cause permanent damage.
